There's a blessing in your test

Many of us want to be blessed and highly favored but at the same time are reluctant to share how God has moved in our lives and has blessed us. I’m guilty. Sometimes you don’t want people in your business or knowing every small detail of your life and they don’t need to but at some point you have to share the goodness you’ve received. God doesn’t bless you just to bless you. He blesses you so that he can get the glory. So that when someone looks at you its evident that he is moving in your life. This ultimately can draw people closer to God. You glorify God by sharing his works in your life. You encourage others when you share your testimony. When people see your walk with the Lord you can sometimes inspire them to also desire a relationship with Christ. I like the scripture, “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted.” 1 Corinthians 10:13. We go through similar struggles. Someone somewhere has been through, going through, or is going to go through a similar situation that you’ve experienced. When you tell someone how God brought you through it, you can increase their faith in God. And when they see how God has blessed you, they can have faith and know that if God did it for you, he can surely do it for them. Allow God to use your tests and blessing to bless others and draw people unto him.
